Characteristics:

Female Striped Bass and Male White Bass hybrid. Appearance is a good representation of both parents. There are 6 to 8 dark horizontal stripes over a silvery background. The back is dark charcoal to black. Two dorsal fins are present, largest having 8 to 10 sharp spines. School in open water and primarily eat fish.
