Volunteer Hero
Jason Haslam is our Volunteer Hero for 1st Quarter 2008
Jason Haslam’s passion for the outdoors and fishing began during his years as a
Boy Scout. His favorite outings involved camping and fishing in the Unita and Boulder
Mountains. He used the "fly and bubble technique" which works wonders in these high
mountain lakes. These trips sparked his interest in learning how to fly fish "for real".
He taught himself the art of fly fishing as a result. Jason also enjoys teaching fly tying
classes and working on his website (www.utahonthefly.com)
He currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and is doing a great job.
Jason, you're an inspiration to us all. We would like to especially thank Jason for all his work on the Fly Tying & Fly Fishing Expo. Thank you for all your past,
present, and future efforts.
Our Volunteer Hero page will feature a new member every quarter. If you feel
a member is worthy of being a Volunteer Hero, please contact our Webmaster.
